25th Anniversary Inman Park Dance Festival

Movement Arts Atlanta is pleased to announce that our students will be performing at the 25th Anniversary Inman Park Dance Festival.

At the end of April 2026, the Inman Park Festival and Tour of Homes will present the 25th Inman Park Dance Festival. This free-admission event presents two performances of ballet and modern dance in the historic Trolley Barn, 1015 Edgewood Avenue NE, Atlanta, Georgia 30307. Performance are Saturday, April 25 and Sunday, April 26 at 4:00 pm. This year’s line-up includes works from Ballethnic, Dance Foundry, Emory University Dance & Movement Studies Program, Full Radius Dance, Metropolitan Ballet Theatre, Monica Hogan Danceworks, and Movement Arts Atlanta. Both performances are of the same dances, are family-friendly and include short artist conversations.

Since its inaugural year, the Dance Festival has presented 51 free, open-to the public performances, welcomed 26,000+ audience members, hosted 26 different dance companies, presented the work of 63 choreographers and paid $142,250 in honorarium to participating companies. The goal of the Dance Festival is to celebrate the depth and breadth of Atlanta and Georgia’s dance community and to encourage audience to patronize presented dance organizations beyond their Festival experience. Movement Arts Atlanta’s Director, Carolyn Stine McLaughlin is the founder and curator for the Dance Festival.

Inman Park Festival & Tour of Homes takes place in one of Atlanta’s oldest and most scenic neighborhoods. First developed in the late 1800s, Inman Park features an abundance of historic homes and several scenic parks. The Festival began in the early 1970’s as a means to attract attention for revitalization efforts in the community. The Festival is Atlanta’s largest all volunteer festival. Organized by the Inman Park Neighborhood Association, the Festival has grown to become a full weekend packed with events offering something for everybody: a tour of homes, artist market, music, dance, food, kid’s activities, and a legendary parade.
