Your Invite! Join Us for the Annual Student Recital

With Movement Arts Atlanta’s Annual Student Recital, Much to the Ballerina’s Surprise & Coral Movement Suite, just a month away, we invite you to put this annual event on your calandar. The performance is Saturday, May 16 at 3:oo pm at Mary Lin Elemtary School’s auditorium, 568 Chandler Park Drive NE, 30307. The performance is free and open to the public. Tickets are not required.

For this year’s performance, all levels of MAA’s students will perform from Kinderdance (ages 3 &4) through adult. This will be the first time that our adult students have joined the performace.

The afternoon will begin with a story ballet entitled Much to the Ballerina’s Surprise. Set to the lively music of Eric Satie, the ballet tells the plight of the frustrated ballerina working through multiple interuption to perform her solo. The ballet will be followed by a short tap number. After a pause, the students of Modern I and II will dance together in Coral Movement Suite.

After the performance, the audience is invite to join the dancer for cake and lemonaid reception.
