First Movitanz™ Senior Swans Teacher in Southeastern USA

Movement Arts Atlanta is please to announce that Director, Carolyn Stine McLaughlin will be the first certified instructor of Movitanz™ Senior Swans for over 50s. This unique curriculum designed by Kathleen Curwen-Walker L.C.B.A. of Dance for Life Academy in Auckland, New Zealand provides a warm and secure experience to inspire seniors to embrace their love of ballet. The curriculum is rigorous and supports the building of strength and balance.

“Senior Swans have developed a syllabus and teaching programs based on the Cecchetti method of ballet that enables seniors, even as complete beginners, to learn and enjoy ballet in a fun, safe, and supportive environment. Our vision is to empower other teachers to take the success of these programs and replicate them in their local communities, making ballet for seniors more accessible to mature aged students across the globe.”

The first opportunity to expense this curriculum will be in June with the Introduction to Ballet Course. Further dates and class time will be announce soon.
