Community Music Center Joins the Community at IPUMC

Inman Park United Methodist Church (IPUMC) is a hub for Inman Park and the surrounding historic neighborhoods. It serves as a house of worship and a place for local businesses and non-profits to serve the community. Movement Arts Atlanta is happy to be a part of this community and to welcome a new organization to the group.

Community Music Center (CMC) offers a wide variety of historically-informed music programs for ages 4 and up. CMC has five locations; Brookhaven, Decatur, Dunwoody, Inman Park and Little 5 Points. Founded in 2007, CMC has programing for the beginning student through pre-professional.

CMC will offer three of their popular programs at IPUMC. Individual music lessons for ages 4 and up in piano, singing, guitar and bass, drums, string instruments (violin, viola, cello and bass), wind instruments (flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet and trombone) and composition. Group music classes and clubs for ages 5 and older. And, Music Immersion which includes daily lessons and work in music theory and performance. CMC’s programs are extensive with offerings to meet the needs of you and your student(s).

Movement Arts Atlanta is happy to welcome Community Music Center to the IPUMC community and looks forward to hearing lots of wonderful music and working together in the future.
