15th Anniversary Season Registration Open!

Registration for the 2026-2027 Season of class is now open! Movement Arts Atlanta (MAA) is celebrating 15 years of serving students and their families with high-quality instruction and exceptional value. MAA has classes for Young Children (ages 3-6), Children and Teens (ages 7+) and Adults in ballet and modern dance. MAA’s classes feature professional instruction, small class size and inclusive tuition.

The Young Children’s program includes Kinderdance for ages 3 and four, Ballet I for ages 5 and 6, and Beginning Tap as an add-on for students taking Ballet I. This group of classes’ primary focus is on developing small and gross motor movements and class taking skills. This is done with imaginative and challenging exercises. Ballet I students also begin their study of classical ballet with primary movements including plié, tendu, relevé and sauté. All this works together to foster a joyful love of dance and lay the foundation for further technical study.

In the Children and Teens’ program classical ballet study is continued and modern dance is added to the class offerings. During these years, the joy of dance is supported, and a strong, clean and well-placed dance technique is developed. The schedule of classes can accommodate both the beginning and experienced dancer.

MAA has a well-developed adult program. Those new to dance are offered Introduction to Ballet, which starts at the very beginning with not only technical work but also insight into the etiquette and history of ballet. Next steps can be Beginning Ballet, Adult Ballet and/or Movitanz™ Senior Swans. Advanced intermediate and advanced dancers are welcome to train with our more serious students in Ballet III/IV and Modern II. New for this season is Bring the Baby Ballet, a beginning ballet class where infants are welcome in the studio.

Movement Arts Atlanta has a place for nearly any student who would like to learn the joys of dance. The 2026-2027 Season is expected to be an exceptional one, welcoming new students and continuing to nurture returning ones, all the while demonstrating that dance is a joyful artform.
